Barbara S. Eikner, CPA, MBA

Barbara grew up in Los Angeles, CA. She attended the University of California at Los Angeles, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in French. She immediately entered the UCLA Graduate School of Management and received her MBA.

Barbara relocated to San Diego to take a new position as Manager of Internal Audit at Pacific Southwest Airlines. Her primary responsibility was to implement the Internal Audit department.

After seven years at the airline, Barbara joined Hamilton Tharp, LLP in 1986. She has provided tax and accounting services to a variety of individual and business clients. She has represented clients in individual audits before the IRS and in comprehensive sales tax audits. Her specialty is in business entity taxation. Barbara is a member of the AICPA and the California Society of CPA’s.
