Christina W. Tharp, B.S., CFO
Tina Tharp joined Hamilton Tharp, LLP in 1999, adding her public and private industry accounting strengths to the firms’ growing consulting division. Prior to joining Hamilton Tharp, LLP, Tina worked for a large consulting firm in Chicago as the Controller for their Latin America division. While in the large corporate environment, Tina decided to take her expertise and apply it to small and growing firms through consulting and part time CFO assignments. She works closely with her clients on implementing their financial vision. She has over 15 years experience in public accounting and industry accounting, including manufacturing, consulting and financial services. She holds her B.S. degree in Finance from San Diego State University. Tina has worked with several accounting software packages including Solomon III, MAS90, Real World, Peachtree, Chess, FMS, QuickBooks, QuickBooks Pro, Instar, Compass and Clients and Profits. Specializing in streamlining paper flow and organizing accounting systems for checks and balances, Tina has proven to be an asset to many of our clients.
Born and raised in San Diego, Tina enjoys the outdoors with her husband, Allen, and their three children – Alyson, Audrey & Carson. She also enjoys traveling, walking her dogs, and musical theater.
